I met the love of my life and we are engaged! (Woohoo!) I never thought the day or the man would come, but here I am. We are about 3 weeks away from having the keys to our new house. Both first time home buyers, it's been a learning experience for us both. We are planning a September 17th wedding in Scottsdale!
I went from 2009 where my hours had been cut back at work, to 2010 where I am working two jobs (hotel and PR/Marketing freelancing) as well as odd jobs (house sitting, cleaning, baby sitting) whenever I can! I would say that I never complain about working so much after having to pinch pennies in 2009, but I do. Go figure.
Wedding planning is coming along... after being in the hotel/catering industry for so long, it's not the planning that is the hard part, but rather the budget part of it. Hahaha... Josh's brother Chris has agreed to marry us for which I am so grateful and excited. We have lovely bridesmaids and groomsmen to stand up with us and six (yes six) beautiful flower girls that will surely knock our friends and family's socks off! I cannot wait for our wedding!
Hope that helps catch you up. I will try to keep this updated more often! There is lots to write about, just not enough hours in the day to do so. After we move, I will post pictures of the new pad!
