My life as a grown up

So I'm pretty sure that I have about 6 readers, so for those of you who read this, here is where the comment function comes in...

Does anyone have songs that have just been ruined for you because of the memory that is tied to it? When it comes on the radio or you hear it on tv, you either cringe with disgust or icky feelings and you have to change the song?

Music, for me, is such a therapeutic, saving grace that to have songs out there that cause mal feelings is so unfortunate - almost worse than the memory itself. There aren't any songs out there really, that I just don't like for the sake of not liking them. When the artist wrote the song and put it out there for the world to embrace, they never intended for me to sigh, roll my eyes and turn it off when I heard the first few chords. I don't want to not like a song. It is not the song's fault, but it's got some bad juju tied to it...
